Here at our office, we offer Zoom!® teeth whitening, which uses a cool blue light and a hydrogen peroxide gel in combination to achieve five to seven increments of whitening on a shade guide so that patients can improve their smile. Generally, the procedure is done in three or four 15-minute sessions where the bleach is applied and exposed to a cool, intense blue light, and what we find is that we can take patients up to five to seven increments in a shade guide of whitening. Generally, the patients are very happy with the results that they get with the Zoom!®. There are certain families of colors of teeth that do better than others, and that's why we do a free operative consultation with the patient to give a realistic idea of what result that they may expect. But we find that most people are thrilled with the result that they get.
